This series has excellent features. Besides O2 XDA Orbit II support 3G technology and HSDPA, it uses Microsoft Windows Mobile version 6.0 Professional, Qualcomm MSM7200, 400 MHz processor, built in GPS and TomTom map installed. The features place this handheld not only as PDA handheld but also Handheld GPS.
Unlike the O2 XDA Argon, Orbit II has 3,15 megapixels camera as it primary camera and VGA camera for video call, 0,1 inch larger TFT touchscreen than Argon and touchFLO finger swipe navigation.
For the connectivity, the handheld uses standard device like WiFi, bluetooth v.2.0 (A2DP) and miniUSB. In this PDA handheld, O2 eliminate infrared connectivity.
The handheld’s internal memory is the same to Argon, 256 MB flashRom and 128 SDRAM, but, the external memory is using MicroSD (TransFlash) and SD 2.0 compatible. To transfer data it uses 3G/HDSPA 3.6 Mbps and GPRS class 10. Standard browser WAP 2.0/xHTML and HTML (Pocket IE) are installed in this PDA handheld.
Standard Microsoft Pocket office (word, excel, Outlook, PDF viewer and Slide viewer) gives readiness for business, while for entertainment it has standard MP3/MP4 features and FM radio embeded.
